Paul Wesley or Pawel Tomasz Wasilewski is an actor, director and producer popular for his work in The Vampire Diaries. Paul Wesley has received numerous accolades, such as Teen Choice Awards, Young Hollywood Awards along with other nominations for his TV role. Wesley is an American-born actor who began acting when at school. He then enrolled at Rutgers University. Once he realised that his acting abilities could make a difference in a career, he chose to quit. His first appearance on TV was in the cult American TV soap opera Another World. Two years later he appeared in a lead role in "Wolf Lake," a popular TV show that aired on the CBS network. When he was cast in the character of Stefan Salvatore for the American popular TV program The Vampire Diaries, his career changed. He has also directed a few episodes of the hit series. He has been featured in numerous movies that have been a hit since his first film, The Last Run. Recent appearances include Mothers and Daughters and The Late Bloomer as a supporting actor.
